Today we made blue play dough to continue learning about the color blue and to have fun with science. The kids all had so much fun mixing the ingredients and making messes.
Recipe for No Cook Play Dough:
1 cup flour 1/2 cup salt 1/2 cup water food coloring
Mix salt and flour together. Mix in water. Keep kneading until soft dough forms. If dough is too flaky, add more water.
This week we are learning about the letter E and the color Blue. We have a lot of fun activities and games about Elephants. We are learning about blue with more finger painting and making blue play-dough. We are also going to begin the holiday season with learning about Thanksgiving and turkeys. Our Thanksgiving party will be next week, so we will keep you all posted.
This week we learned about the color yellow and the letter D. All of the kids had so much fun learning what sound D makes and what words begin with D. We learned about the color yellow through finger painting and identifying yellow objects.
We have had a few additions to our group this week. Miss Allison started as a new teacher and Ryder and Auki joined our amazing group of kids.
We have created this blog to keep all of our parents in touch with their little ones throughout the day! We hope you enjoy being able to experience the adventures we have at Toddler Time!
